Tennessee Work Camp

This whole week, our church has been host to several congregations from Tennessee who came to do relief work. Every week this summer, we will have groups come stay at our building and help with clean-up. This week is special because we had almost 200 people come from 8 different congregations in Tennessee! That's a lot of folks! Since we only had showers at the building for the girls who came, all the men and boys were sent to different homes of people in our church every evening to take their showers. We enjoyed getting to know our group of boys from the Huntingdon Church of Christ. We also enjoyed helping out with the food preparation on 2 of the 5 nights that they stayed in our building. Here are some pictures of our week:

It was a great week for Christians to get together for hard work, fellowship, and fun. I want to say a special thank you to all the congregations who took part in this special week: Central Church of Christ, Northport Church of Christ, Huntingdon Church of Christ, Camden Church of Christ, Sitka Church of Christ, West Dyersburg Church of Christ, Rogersville Church of Christ, Martin Church of Christ, Refuge Church of Christ, and McKenzie Church of Christ. We appreciate so much your willingness to come take a week out of your life to help with this effort.
