Ava Supervises The Making Of Greta's Dresser

We received our shipment of Greta's furniture last Monday. Jeremy and I had taken one of our youth group children home after school and when we pulled into the garage, we saw these two boxes!! The smaller box is Greta's bedding and the larger box is Greta's dresser. We received Greta's crib a few days later! We were so excited that Jeremy started working on it right away. Ava, of course, felt the need to supervise the project. :)

Ava made sure that Jeremy put all the trash in the trashcan. She really wanted to play with all this styrofoam, but we assured her that it was trash. She knows if something is called "trash" then in MUST go in the trashcan!

 My little sweet cheeks!

The box had to stay in a high place away from little hands. Unfortunately, Ava has learned how to climb the couch and this box quickly made its way into the garage to await garbage pickup.

Ava tells Dad where to put this side of the dresser. He is so lucky to have her! Half the things that he puts together in our house would not get done without Ava's help! ;)

She watched him until she was sure that it had been done correctly!

Then she took a much needed break...

 And made a phone call...

She then needed a piggy back ride from Daddy! Supervising is a hard job!!

I actually did not get a picture of the finished product. How sad is that? :) I am planning on doing a later post of the nursery that will have the two new pieces of furniture. I hope that Greta does not come before that post! I NEED her to hold off until everything is finished! I don't want my little girl coming home to a house that is not ready!! But we all know, a baby will come when he/she wants! Let's hope she gives us a few more weeks!
